"Spring"ing into action

So many things have been going on in the past month, I haven't had a chance to update the blog! Above you'll see that my grandma (red hat) and her twin sister (no hat) celebrated their 83rd birthday. And what better way to do that than to have a tea party! What a great time!
This is quite the adorable picture of little Brutus enjoying one of my SIX snowdays! As you can see, he had trouble walking through the snow, so he actually hopped like a rabbit. I spent the entire 6 days off school scrapbooking and cleaning up the house. We just put our house on the market since we'll be headed to Indy in June. Daniel will go over there in May after his graduation to begin studying for the bar exam. Brutus is looking forward to living with his 'grandparents' once again!
Now this is a picture of Brutus hard at work...really. My parents and brother surprised me on my birthday by coming all the way over to Dayton with the traditional ice cream cake. It was the best birthday present ever! While Nick was here, the electronics didn't seem to hold his attention as usual...so Brutus began working. He fetched toys, did tricks for treats, and even endured a dress-up show. Obviously, by looking at the picture above, he does not worry about mixing holidays when dressing up.
