Colts and Bingo

One of our great family traditions on Lauren's dad's side is playing bingo after unwrapping presents. This year, Lauren's dad was the Bingo Master and sported his new apron. We both agree that there's nothing like family tradition!

And, in honor of our move to Indy, we are spreading Colts cheer throughout the Dayton area. Thank goodness the Colts won against the Bengals, or the other party-goers would still be making fun of us. We actually had to get this cookie from Indy...there's nothing but orange and black around here!

Christmas Fun

In the middle of the hectic December month, Daniel and I took the time to hang out with wonderful friends from Dayton. You can see that the church Christmas party at our house was busting at the seams with four and a half people per couch and many in standing room only. It was super fun though, especially the white elephant gift exchange. We actually put this couch in the exchange and our friends, the Ross's, ended up winning the battle for it. The other two pictures show us having a grand time with our Bible study at the skating rink in downtown Cincinnati. It was Daniel's first time skating. He did a fantastic job, especially with such a crowd on the ice. Our friends B.J. and Inez moved to Cincy and we miss them tons!

Christmas with Brinks

On December 1st, Daniel and I celebrated Christmas with his wonderful firm-to-be, Brinks, Hofer, Gilson & Lione. The party was held at the Conrad in downtown Indianapolis. It was so much fun, and we know we are blessed beyond belief with the people that make up the firm. Later this weekend, Brutus got his Christmas picture taken. He is definitely not as thrilled as his parents!
