2010 Christmas Letter

Merry Christmas! 2010 was an amazing year, full of one blessing after another. Sullivan was, of course, the biggest blessing of all. My little brother is the best! I can't wait until he grows up to play with me. Until then, I'll continue being a better big brother than Mom and Dad ever expected. Throughout the year, I've been busy learning my letters, singing lots of cool songs, enjoying my Wednesdays at school, playing on my playground outside, hanging out with all my buddies, and being Mom's best friend everyday. You'd never believe how much fun we have together! And now I just need to teach Sullivan all my wisdom. We're starting with not crying.
Mom stopped tutoring when Sullivan came around, but she is staying plenty busy with the both of us. She considers it a pretty wonderful day if we both sleep at the same time. Then again, I know she loves taking us to the park, shopping, or to visit friends. She loves being a part of MOPS, her Covenant Sunday School class, and taking pictures everywhere we go. As long as we're on the go, we're all happy!

Dad still loves his work, but it keeps him pretty busy. When he comes home, I tackle him immediately. Literally. It's our favorite time together. We tackle, steamroll each other, and run homeruns around the house. So far, Sullivan has only learned to tackle, but there's plenty of time left to learn. When we're not all over him, he likes to play basketball and football with his buddies at church. Don't worry...I help him stretch before he goes.
If this is your first time to visit our blog, please look through all the fun things we've done this year. We've traveled a lot, visited zoos and parks, and even celebrated Mom's 30th birthday. My second birthday was a huge success, and there are many pictures of me doing random things that make my mom and dad laugh. That's probably the best part of each day. We all love to laugh. So, Merry Christmas to you...we wish you tons of laughter in year 2011. Here's a laugh to get you started...

Holiday Happenings

Sullivan's first smile for the camera. He really is giving Mom a tough time when it comes to smiling. She's really gotta work for it. I, however, truly enjoy yelling "He's smiling" throughout the day so everyone will stop what they're doing and run. It's always a false alarm, but boy is it fun! I enjoyed a few warm days outside recently. Of course, now it's all snowy. Those pictures will come soon.

Preparing for Christmas has been so much fun around here. We sing lots of new Christmas music (my favorite is "Little Drummer Boy"), decorate the tree, bake yummy stuff, and Mom continues to take a lot of pictures.
I'm still a big fan of the Colts, despite their recent losses. In fact, the last time I saw them on TV, I ran and got my uniform. I insisted on wearing the entire uniform for most of the game.

Here are a few good shots of all the random things I like to do...including playing with Daddy and Sullivan. And do you like my guitar-playing style?

This is when I took charge as man of the household and fixed a loose nail. Sometimes you just can't wait for Daddy to come home.
Can you tell from this picture that my bud, Cal, and I really have a great time dancing together?

And did you hear that my mom's cousin, Kim, came to visit for a few days? How fun! We took her to the Children's Museum, park, coffee shop, and Grammy and Papa's house. I even taught her how to use a banana phone!

November Flew By

I headed off to my nap, just as IU beat Purdue...so I sent my brother to gloat instead. Good idea, Mom. Below, you'll see I just had my first sleepover a few weeks ago. My buddy, Lleyton, came over so his dad could see Purdue play and his mom could shop with my mom. We had the best time ever...and actually slept for about 6 hours of the night. Not bad. We let Audri and Sullivan join our fun for a few minutes, then it was back to tackle practice with Daddy!

Sullivan was dedicated on November 14th at church and all kinds of family came in to celebrate. Again, Sullivan slept through most of the fun. How does he do that? Nana, Grandpa, Grammy and Papa enjoyed every minute with my brother and me.
Ryker's little brother, Deklan, was dedicated too. Here I am congratulating him.
I'm old enough now for the dentist! I was such a big boy Mom said. I let her brush my teeth and look around with the little mirror. I insisted that she put toothpaste on the toothbrush...not sure why she would bother brushing without it! I also asked for that cool water squirter 4 times. We should get one of those at home!

Above, you'll see me enjoying the last few nice days outside. And below, you'll see me messing around with Sullivan...he loves it...I think.

Trunk or Treating

Roarrrr. I was quite the lion this year for Halloween. My little brother was a bear, but he slept through the fun. I got to go "trunk or treating" at church. It took me no time to learn how to get 'candies' in my pumpkin! A bunch of my friends were there too...Buzz, a cupcake, an elephant, and you'll see my man, Ryker, below, enjoying the golf cart with me. That might have been the best part.

Of course, the water might have beaten the golf cart out for "best part of the night"!
Ahh, and what not many people knew was my true identity....Super Grover.

After all the fun, I made sure I still hugged and kissed my favorite little guy...I'm sure we'll have fun at Halloween together next year!

One Month Old Already

Check out my cute little brother! Oh, and a few of me too...can't help it!
